Continuing Education at the Conference
The Indiana Commercial Real Estate Conference provides 8 continuing education units (CEUs) toward Indiana sales and broker real estate licenses. This includes:

8 elective (CEUs)

6 mandatory CEUs + 2 elective CEUs

or any combination of the two
Each workshop at the Conference is worth 2 CEUs (except Ethics, which is worth 3). The program will distinguish whether it qualifies for elective or mandatory credit.
Be sure to sign in to each workshop and pick up your certificate at the end of each session. Keep the certificate for your records in case you are audited by the Indiana Real Estate Commission.
Note: Neither ICBR nor the Real Estate Commission tracks your CEUs.
Indiana Continuing Education Requirements

16 hours in the two year license period

6 of which must be in three different mandatory subjects, which include:

License & Escrow Law, Agency Law, Civil Rights Law, Listing Contracts and Purchase Agreements, Settlement Procedures and Antitrust.

Brokers licenses expire June 30 of odd-numbered years
Sales licenses expire June 30 of even-numbered years
Only CEUs obtain after July 1 and before June 30 of your two year licence period count toward your renewal. For example, if you are a Salesperson, CEUs for your June 30, 2010 renewal must be obtained between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2010. For a Broker, CEUs for your June 20, 2011 renewal must be obtained between July 1, 2009 and June 30, 2011.
Ethics:
The National Association of REALTORS requires all members take an approved Ethics course every four years. The Ethics course provided every year at the Indiana Commercial Real Estate Conference is an approved NAR Ethics Course.
